There are times when a dress just gets to you, one which you have to show every bride who walks in the door, simply because you love her and also because you are never amazed at how different it can look on one body to the next, how different people can just bring out so many different dimensions of a gowns style and personality.
Pippa by Sassi Holford was and still is one of those gowns for The White Room, Sheffield.
We bought Pippa from the 2013 collection, our 1st ever from Sassi and I loved her from the minute I saw her. As a sucker for any element of sparkle and a woman who just does nothing for lace, I was slightly envious of anyone who rocked her! And WOW did our brides do just that.
Pippa never discriminated. She embraced curves. She never needed straps. She looked amazing on a slim girl, adding a bust if you needed more! She was bright, fluid and soft yet the low back offered the hint of sexy (just a sprinkle) to make your groom go “Wow, I married that”.
Pippa has translated to an Italian rustic wedding, a Croatian beach side celebration, a country hall and a glamorous and decadent manor. So, we today celebrate the girls who loved one of my favourite gowns and showing how they wore Pippa, their way!
We’ve paired with pearl, diamonds, silk veils, bright flowers, muted tones. She just works!! We now have a complimenting gown to Pippa in a 2015 gown called Harper, so if you wish to wear Pippa or a variation of her, The White Room is the place to come. Sassi Holford will be in Sheffield on Saturday 6th December 2014 to meet our brides and to see and style you in your perfect Sassi Holford gown. We are sure all the women who wore on of her gowns will say how amazing each and every second of their day they felt. We hope we can make you feel just as amazing.
