Jenny Packham, Stephanie Allin, Claire Pettibone, Sassi Holford and Cymbeline gowns
(and accessories too!)
The White Room don’t do ‘sales’ like you would imagine a sale to be. We don’t have rails cluttered with rubbish, we don’t sell gowns that are falling to bits and look like your mum could use them for dusters, oh no. We take pride in all of our gowns and we only sell what we would wear, the rest we donate to charity.
The White Room offers an annual sample sale so we can reach out to brides who wish to stretch their budget and get more dress for your money. We are working on a 1st come, 1st served basis so get here early if you are looking for more gown for your money!
How does it work?
We will be reducing gowns and accessories by a significant amount so brides can get the gown they want with room to spare for shoes, fabulous accessories and that upgrade on the honeymoon!
We will open the doors at 10am and gowns will be here to try and buy on a 1st come, 1st served basis. All gowns will be paid in full and we cannot reserve or hold a gown, so please come prepared to buy. All samples are paid in full (inc accessories).
Our gowns range in size from a UK 10 to UK 14, hence the title ‘sample’. These are all showroom length too, so made to fit up to 5’10 in most cases. Although one UK 12 may differ from the other and as much as gowns can be altered width ways, we can’t do much about where the gown fits in relation to your bust, waist and hips. Therefore regardless of the actual dress ‘size’ it is likely that if you are smaller than 5’ 2” or taller than 5’ 10” the bust, waist and hips will never sit in the right place.
In addition, the proportions are relative to this, so if you have a big chest or larger hip, your cup may runneth over!!
Dresses are never successfully let out – never buy with the intention of slimming into a dress with this as a back up plan. Similarly a size 16 dress taken down to a size 8 will never look like buying the size 8 dress would have done…
We look after our gowns. Simple as that, however as it is a sample, you are buying a gown which has been tried and worn by others in a styling session, so there will be evidence of some handling. Some fabrics and dresses are easier to clean than others and should you wish us to have the gown cleaned for you, we will do so at a change to the bride. All gowns that need a new button, zip or perhaps a few beads replacing will be done courtesy of The White Room. All alterations are chargeable.
We have gowns by Jenny Packham, Stephanie Allin, Sassi Holford, Cymbeline and Claire Pettibone and shoes and accessories by Debbie Carlisle, Rachel Simpson and a few others too! All gowns will be reduced by at least 30%. The gowns we appreciate aren’t as amazing as others (in condition) will have this reflected in the price.
- We say come along but do so with an intent.
- We are not holding or reserving gowns, so once one is gone, it’s gone.
- We will also not have full price gowns on the studio floor, so brides won’t be able to try on other none sale gowns.
- Brides will be limited to trying 3 gowns at a time, once the 3 has gone, you will be more than welcome to try others but you may have to wait to allow another bride to try as we do have limited fitting room space
- All gowns to be purchased will be paid in full
- We ask that brides don’t ‘haggle’. We have respectfully and adequately marked the dresses up at a price which is fair and representative of the brand and The White Room
We will be adding to our sample sale the following:
Jenny Packham – Scarletta, Ivy, Ruby and Muscari

Stephanie Allin – Bardot (short), Agi with lace, Marni, Loren, Serenade, Dani and Milly
Cymbeline – Galilee, Gatti, Gardenia, Giovanni, Galice and Fleurette
